In
1974, Muddy Creek purchased its first Newfoundland from Edenglen Kennels in upstate NY. This was the beginning of many years
of involvement with this wonderful breed. We later incorporated Topmast, Pouch Cove, and Sun Valley lines with ours. This
kinship produced some special dogs that will be a part of us forever.
Owning and breeding Newfoundlands have kept
our lives very full. While participating in Newf and All-Breed Clubs, attending dog shows, and other related events, we have
met wonderful people from all over the world who care deeply for this breed and its future.
We breed our dogs is
on a limited basis. We do hope that this year will bring us a few new additions to have fun with in the show ring. It is our
goal to produce Newfoundlands that meet the standard in type, soundness, temperment, and of course good health.
